The three-time defending NAIA national champion Georgia Gwinnett College women's tennis team will begin its quest for another title Wednesday, May 15, with a second-round match in the 2019 NAIA National Championships at Mobile, Ala.

The top-seeded Grizzlies, with a 16-1 record, will play the winner of Tuesday's first-round match between No. 16-seeded Cumberland University (Tenn.) and No. 17 Westmont College (Calif.). The second-round match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. central time.
A total of 24 teams are competing in this year's national tournament through Saturday, May 18, at the Mobile Tennis Center.
GGC has won four straight matches since its only loss of the season, 4-3, at NCAA Division II Columbus State University (Ga.) on March 27.
Sophomore
Madeline Bosnjak is 17-0 in singles play this season, including a 16-0 mark in matches on the No. 1 court. She also is undefeated through 15 doubles matches this spring.

Senior
Maria Prados Cid ranks second on the team with 15 singles wins. Meanwhile, senior
Henar Munoz and freshman
Tereza Koplova have each recorded 13 wins in singles action. Junior
Emerald Able has won all nine of her singles matches in 2019.
The Grizzlies defeated Keiser University (Fla.) 5-2 to win the 2018 national championship.
