The No. 22-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team seeks to build off its first road triumph of the season with a match at No. 6 Truett McConnell University on Saturday, September 19, in Cleveland, Georgia, starting at 7 p.m. It is the second of a four-match road swing for the team.
The Grizzlies (4-3-0) picked up a 4-0 victory at Point University (Georgia) on Wednesday. The team scored three of its four goals in the second half.
GGC has outshot each of its opponents this season, including a 22-4 margin against Point.

Alliyah Rosales tallied a goal and provided an assist in the most recent triumph. She stands second on the team with three goals.
Sophomore
Hannah Lorenz continues to carry the offensive load for the team, scoring a team-high six goals and attempting 35 shots across seven matches. She has twice been named the Continental Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week already this fall.

Barbora Kadlecova has found the back of the net twice in 2026.
Junior
Nova Eskelinen scored her first goal of the season at Point and has assisted on two other goals for the team. Classmate

Isabella Hodson paces the Bears' offensive attack with four goals and nine points. Erin Ward has contributed a team-high three assists. Goalkeepers Leire Rodriguez Najera and Noa del Rio have split time this season, with del Rio collecting eight saves and posting a 1.00 goals against average in her four appearances. Rodriguez Najera has recorded a shutout in three matches.

ROAD TRIP VICTORY
GGC recorded its first road victory of the season with Wednesday's 4-0 triumph at Point University (Georgia). The Grizzlies are seeking to continue their winning ways on the road, playing the next three matches away from Lawrenceville through the end of September. Trips to Florida and Tennessee will follow Saturday's match at Truett McConnell University (Georgia).
GRIZZLIES MAKING THE GRADE
The women's soccer team was one of the six GGC athletic teams to receive the NAIA Scholar Team Award for their academic success during the 2025-26 school year. The women's soccer team's cumulative 3.70 grade point average was the best among all GGC teams.
