Men’s Tennis Primed to Defend NAIA National Championship

Junior Federico Bonacia won the clinching point to capture the 2019 NAIA national championship
The top-seeded Georgia Gwinnett College men's tennis team will begin its quest for a seventh consecutive NAIA national championship with a Round of 16 match on Wednesday, May 19, at 1 p.m. (central time) from the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

The Grizzlies will face the winner of Tuesday's match between No. 16 seed Grace College (Indiana) and No. 17 seed Southeastern University (Florida).

GGC has a 24-0 record all-time in matches at the NAIA national championship event, capturing titles from 2014-19. COVID-19 pandemic health and safety restrictions cancelled the 2020 national tournament.
