The Georgia Gwinnett softball team dropped a pair of games Tuesday at #4 Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., by 9-0 and 10-0 scores.

The Grizzlies were paced by two hits apiece from Marlee Morales and Ashleigh Simmons. GGC (16-24) managed just six total hits on the day against a Flames squad that improved to 36-7 on the season and 20-5 at home.

The Grizzlies are in the middle of six straight games against teams in the NAIA’s top 11.

Sunday, GGC stopped new #8 Reinhardt’s 25-game winning streak on the road in a 5-4 win.

Wednesday, the Grizzlies will play their first-ever games at the Grizzly Softball Complex on campus, hosting #11 USC Beaufort in a 2 p.m. doubleheader.

Admission and parking (in deck at main entrance to GGC campus off Collins Hill Road) are free of charge.
