After matching the program's deepest postseason run last spring, the Georgia Gwinnett College softball team is set to begin the 2026 campaign ranked No. 4 in the NAIA Preseason Poll, announced following a nationwide vote of coaches.

The Grizzlies, led by Head Coach Kat Ihlenburg, tallied 398 poll points and has reached the NAIA World Series for three consecutive seasons.

GGC advanced to the semifinal round of the 2025 NAIA World Series after posting victories against Central Methodist University (Missouri) and Grand View University (Iowa). The team had a 48-10 record and won the Continental Athletic Conference championship.
