Six Georgia Gwinnett College athletic teams have been designated as NAIA Scholar Teams for their academic successes during the 2025-26 school year, announced by the NAIA national office as part of the organization's national awards day.

GGC's recognized teams were men's and women's soccer, softball, baseball, and men's and women's tennis. They compiled a cumulative 3.0 or higher grade point average for the 2025-26 academic year.

Women's soccer led the GGC list with a 3.70 GPA for 2025-26, followed by women's tennis, with a 3.62 team GPA; softball , at 3.61 GPA; baseball, at 3.32, men's soccer, at 3.17, and men's tennis, at 3.09 GPA.
