The defending NAIA national champion Georgia Gwinnett College men's tennis team is gearing up for a challenging five-tournament schedule that's filled with NCAA Division I and NAIA opponents during the fall portion of the 2026-27 season.
2026 FALL SCHEDULE
The Grizzlies, led by Head Coach
Tom Rees, will open the season by hosting the GGC Classic on September 11-12 at the GGC Tennis Facility. The singles and doubles draws will include talented players from such NCAA Division I teams as Georgia State University, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville State University (Alabama), The Citadel (South Carolina), UAB, and University of North Alabama.

GGC will then host the Intercollegiate Tennis Association South Regional from September 24-27, with the top singles and doubles winners advancing to compete for individual NAIA titles at the ITA Cup on October 15-18 in Rome, Georgia.
Players will return to Rome for the Universal Tennis Rating national championship tournament on October 31 and November 1.
The Grizzlies are scheduled to conclude the fall slate by competing in the Georgia State Duals from November 6-8 in Atlanta.
Georgia Gwinnett College swept the NAIA individual national titles last fall and then posted a 25-0 dual-match record during the spring. Along the way, the team won the ITA NAIA indoor national championship and NAIA team national title, the program's 11th red banner season.
