The Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team is beginning preparations for the 2026 season by hosting an open tryout on Saturday, August 8, from the Grizzly Soccer Complex, starting at 8 a.m. There is no fee for the tryout. The tryout is expected to last two hours.

The tryout is open to current GGC students. Participants are expected to bring their own gear for the synthetic turf pitch. Email Head Coach Dr. Mike Giuliano at mgiuliano1@ggc.edu prior to attending the tryout.

GGC is coming off a 10-6-5 campaign during the 2025 season where it advanced to the NAIA Second Round of the national tournament. The Grizzlies won their third straight Continental Athletic Conference title last fall.

The 2026 season is scheduled to begin against Montreat College (North Carolina) on Saturday, August 22, at the Grizzly Soccer Complex, starting at 4:30 p.m.
