Women’s Soccer Preparing for Challenging 2026 Fall Schedule

The Grizzlies play eight opponents that advanced to last year’s national tournament
The Georgia Gwinnett College 2026 women's soccer team is preparing to face a challenging fall season featuring eight opponents that advanced to last year's national tournament.

GGC, led by Head Coach Dr. Mike Giuliano, are scheduled to play seven home regular-season matches at the Grizzly Soccer Complex. The team will then host the Continental Athletic Conference tournament, from November 8-10, that will determine the conference's representative to the NAIA national tournament.

The Grizzlies posted a 10-6-5 record and advanced to the Second Round of the 2025 NAIA tournament after capturing their third straight league title.

2026 SCHEDULE

Lorenz goalThis year's season begins with a home match against Montreat College (North Carolina) on August 22.

The opening month concludes with matches at Life University (Georgia) on August 26 before hosting William Carey University (Mississippi) on August 30. Both of those opponents made it to the Round of 16 in last year's NAIA tournament.

GGC welcomes St. Thomas University (Florida) and SCAD Savannah (Georgia) to Lawrenceville on September 5 and September 13, respectively. The team then plays four straight road matches, with three consecutive against national tournament participants. This road swing includes matches against Point University (Georgia), on September 16; Truett McConnell University (Georgia), on September 19; Southeastern University (Florida), on September 24; and Cumberland University (Tennessee), on September 29.

Additional home matches against national qualifiers will have Tennessee Wesleyan University, on October 3, and Campbellsville University (Kentucky), on October 11.

Kadlecova kick actionThe Grizzlies hit the road for a neutral-site match against Bellevue University (Nebraska) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on October 14. The team defeated the Bruins 4-2 in last season's CAC tournament championship match.

GGC's final home match is scheduled against national tournament participant Lindsey Wilson University (Kentucky) on October 21.

Road matches concluding the 2026 slate will feature Bethel University (Tennessee), on October 18; Carolina University (North Carolina), on October 23; and Milligan University (Tennessee), on October 31.
