Georgia Gwinnett College's Office of Athletics has earned the Champions of Character Five-Star silver-level rating for the 2024-25 athletic year from the NAIA national office.
The NAIA's Champions of Character program rates collegiate athletic programs annually in areas of character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition, and character promotion. Schools scoring a minimum of 60 out of 100 points were recognized with the Champions of Character Five-Star Institution Award.
GGC student-athletes posted a 3.34 grade point average during the Spring 2025 semester, marking the highest collective GPA for an academic term in department history. Forty-six student-athletes earned academic honors from the Continental Athletic Conference and 165 student-athletes were named to Georgia Gwinnett Colleges' Director of Athletics Honor Roll for their academic successes in the fall or spring academic semesters during the 2024-25 school year.
Six of GGC's athletic teams qualified for NAIA postseason play in 2024-25, with women's tennis capturing a national championship. Three programs captured CAC titles.
