Men’s Tennis Earns Top Seed for 2025 NAIA National Tournament

The Grizzlies are the 10-time defending national champions
The Georgia Gwinnett College men's tennis team will begin defense of the NAIA national championship as the No. 1 seed for the upcoming 24-team 2025 national championship tournament, which begins May 13 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

Larrea netThe top-seeded status gives the Grizzlies a first-round bye into the tournament's second round on Wednesday, May 14, at 1 p.m. They are scheduled to face the winner of the first-round match on May 13 between No. 16 seed Middle Georgia State University and No. 17 seed Morningside University (Iowa).

GGC, the 10-time defending NAIA champion, bring a 15-2 record into postseason play and has played seven teams in this year's tournament field, including a 7-0 sweep against Middle Georgia State on April 12 in Lawrenceville. The team captured the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association NAIA Indoor National Championship in early February.

Georgia Gwinnett College, coached by Hannah Keeling, has a 40-0 all-time postseason record.
