Eleven Georgia Gwinnett College student-athletes from four nationally ranked spring sports teams have been named to NAIA Daktronics' Spring Scholar Athletes list for their many classroom successes, recognized by the NAIA national office.
Eligible student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 (out of 4.0), appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
These student-athletes have helped GGC teams earn NAIA national rankings during the spring season. The men's tennis team enters postseason play with a No. 1 ranking, while baseball and women's tennis stand No. 2 in their respective Top 25 polls. Softball is ranked No. 9 and completed the regular season with a 13-game winning streak.
