Jamya Griffin have earned the final Continental Athletic Conference Basketball Player of the Week awards for the 2025 portion of the 2025-26 season.

Chaney, the men's offensive honoree, turned in a pair of 20-point scoring performances for the Grizzlies at the Athletes in Action Christmas Classic. He tied his career high with 24 points in an 82-76 loss to Marian University (Indiana) last Tuesday.
The Lake Wales, Florida, native then had 22 points in a 75-61 win against the University of Rio Grande (Ohio) the next day.
For the week, the guard-forward averaged 23 points, 8.5 rebounds and four assists per game and made 53.6 percent of his field goals.
Chaney leads the Grizzlies with 16.9 points and 9.9 rebounds per game, along with having a team-best 82 assists and 28 steals on the season.
Meanwhile, Griffin, the women's defensive honoree, had five steals in GGC's win at fellow CAC opponent Carolina University (North Carolina) last Thursday.

The guard averaged 3.5 steals and 12 points across two games last week. Her strong play helped the team win both games to close out 2025.
The Harvest, Alabama, native is averaging 11.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for the 2025-26 season. She also has recorded 28 steals and a team-best nine blocked shots.
GGC's men's basketball team, ranked No. 24 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll with a 11-4 record, returns to action Saturday, January 3, at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, starting at 4 p.m.
The women's basketball team, with a 9-6 record, is scheduled to travel to the CAC Classic at Florida College on January 9-10 in Temple Terrace, Florida.
