Georgia Gwinnett College junior Nylaa Fuller has become the third Grizzly to collect a Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week award during the program's inaugural season.

The forward from Huntsville, Alabama, has been named this week's Defensive Player of the Week.

Fuller was a defensive force for the Grizzlies last week, having five steals and six rebounds against Thomas University (Georgia) last Wednesday. Fuller turned several of her steals into transitional layups, scoring 10 points in the contest.

Fuller joins junior Peyton Hearvey and freshman Christen Collins as GGC players earning a conference weekly award this season.

Georgia Gwinnett College (6-3) is scheduled to travel to Life University on Tuesday, November 25, in Marietta, Georgia, starting at 5:30 p.m.
