Georgia Gwinnett College freshman
Christen Collins has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year for the 2025-26 season.
The postseason honors, selected by voting within league coaches, were announced before the start of this year's postseason championship tournament, starting on Thursday, February 26, and continuing until Sunday, March 1, at Georgia Gwinnett College's Convocation Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Tory Wooley received the Coach of the Year award after leading the Grizzlies to a 19-6 record and top seed in the postseason event during the program's inaugural season.

Sophomore
Jamya Griffin joined Collins in receiving first all-CAC team honors. Freshman
Hope Taylor rounded out the CAC postseason honorees with a spot on the Champion of Character team.
Collins led GGC in scoring by averaging 16.6 points per game and having 73 steals. She made 65 3-point field goals and started all 25 games. The guard scored 26 points in victories against nationally ranked Lindsey Wilson University (Kentucky) and CAC-member Haskell Indian Nations.
Griffin is averaging 12 points and five rebounds per contest this season. She leads the Grizzlies with 59 assists and 10 blocked shots. The guard also has had 44 steals and made 40.9 percent of her field goals in 2025-26.
