Barbora Kadlecova has collected the Continental Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award for the first time in her career.

She led the Grizzlies to an unbeaten week (2-0-1) by scoring a match-tying goal in a home draw against Bethel University (Tennessee) last Saturday.
The Lesov, Czech Republic, native headed in a corner kick during the 77th minute. Kadlecova helped the team post two shutouts and four of the defender's five shots were on goal during the week.
Georgia Gwinnett College (6-3-3 and ranked No. 20 in the NAIA Top 25 poll) is scheduled to travel to Campbellsville University (Kentucky) on Friday, October 9, starting at 8 p.m. Then, the team concludes the road trip against Lindsey Wilson College (Kentucky) on Sunday, October 11, beginning at 1 p.m.
