Three members of the Georgia Gwinnett College women's tennis team have reaped first NAIA All-America team honors, while another player also was an All-American, for their strong play in the Grizzlies' national championship season. The 2024 All-America team was announced Thursday, May 23, by the national office.

Junior
Justine Lespes joined seniors
Iryna Lysykh and
Teodora Jovic in earning first-team honors, while sophomore
Versace Gatti was a third-team selection.
Lespes won all 17 of her singles matches on the No. 1 court and concluded the 2024 season as the top-ranked singles player in the NAIA, as selected by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. She also won the ITA's NAIA singles title last fall.
Lespes teamed with fellow junior
Carol Mora to win all 11 of their doubles matches this season, with eight triumphs coming on the No. 2 court.
Lysykh received NAIA first-team All-American honors for the third time in her GGC career (also 2022 and 2021). She joined classmate
Stephanie Fernandez to form the ITA's No. 1-ranked NAIA doubles team, posting a 16-2 record in matches on the No. 1 court this spring. She also went 14-0 in No. 2 singles matches.
Jovic earned first-team All-American accolades for the second consecutive season. She went 8-2 in singles matches, including a 7-2 mark on the No. 3 court.

Gatti won all 10 of her singles matches in her first season as a Grizzly, with nine victories coming on the No. 4 court. She also posted an 8-2 record in doubles play.
Georgia Gwinnett College captured its ninth NAIA national title with a dramatic 4-3 victory against Keiser University (Florida) last Saturday. The team had a 18-0 record during the 2024 campaign and currently has a 35-match winning streak.
