Another successful semester in the classroom brought 84 student-athletes earning the Georgia Gwinnett College Office of Athletics' Director of Athletics Honor Roll recognition for having 3.0 or better grade point averages for their classes during the 2024 fall semester.
Twenty-one student-athletes earned GGC President's List academic honors for having a perfect 4.0 grade point average this fall. Meanwhile, another 23 student-athletes earned Dean's List honors for having a 3.6 to 3.99 GPA for the semester.
The department compiled a 3.19 grade point average, with all six teams achieving a 3.0 or better GPAs for the first academic semester of the 2024-25 school year.
Men's tennis had a department-high 3.43 team GPA, followed closely by softball with a 3.41 GPA.
Baseball led the AD Honor Roll list with 21 selections, while women's soccer had 20 honorees, and men's soccer and softball each had 17 selections.
On the playing field/court, GGC's men's and women's soccer teams qualified for the second round of the NAIA national tournament, while men's tennis had players earning NAIA individual honors in Intercollegiate Tennis Association and Universal Tennis championship events.
