Men’s Tennis Hosting 13 Matches in 2025

The Grizzlies are scheduled to host seven teams ranked in the NAIA Preseason Top 25 poll this spring
A challenging 2025 schedule awaits the defending NAIA national champion Georgia Gwinnett College men's tennis team, with 13 home matches and contests against strong opponents from four different collegiate ranks.

2025 SCHEDULE

Rocco doubles forehandThe top-ranked Grizzlies open the spring slate with a pair of home matches against NCAA Division II opponents: No. 25-ranked Belmont Abbey College (North Carolina), on January 24, and No. 26 Lander University (South Carolina), on January 28.

GGC is scheduled to defend its Intercollegiate Tennis Association NAIA Indoor National Championship in Overland Park, Kansas, from January 31 through February 2. The team also is scheduled to host four NAIA ranked opponents in the Grizzly Invitational at the GGC Tennis Facility, from February 21-22: No. 10 Cumberland University (Tennessee), No. 13 University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky), No. 14 Lindsey Wilson College (Kentucky), and No. 18 Our Lady of the Lake University (Texas).

After the ITA NAIA indoor national championships, the Grizzlies are scheduled to host NCAA Division II No. 17 Mississippi College on February 9 and NAIA No. 5 Xavier University of Louisiana on February 14.

February matches also include NCAA Division I The Citadel (South Carolina), in a doubleheader on February 23, and Montreat College (North Carolina), on February 28.

Garmendia running forehandGGC will travel to Valdosta State University (Georgia) on March 2-3 for matches against the Blazers, ranked No. 1 in Division II, and No. 4-ranked Barry University (Florida).

The busy early March slate has home matches on March 5 against No. 7 William Carey University (Mississippi) and Campbellsville University (Kentucky), a team that received votes in the NAIA preseason poll.

Then, the Grizzlies are scheduled to host NCAA Division III No. 6 Emory University (Georgia) on March 14 before concluding the regular season at home against SCAD Atlanta, another team receiving preseason poll votes, on April 8 and No. 3 Middle Georgia State University on April 19.

Georgia Gwinnett College, led by Head Coach Hannah Keeling, has won 10 straight NAIA national titles and posted an 18-0 record last spring. The 2025 NAIA national championship tournament is set for May 13-17 at Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.
