GGC has won its last 74 matches, the nation's longest active consecutive winning streak in collegiate sports.

The Grizzlies was victorious in 24 of the 30 completed doubles games to grab a quick 3-0 advantage. Junior Rafael Coutinho and sophomore Federico Herrera Duran won all eight games on the No. 1 court, while senior Gilad Berman teamed with junior Ayed Zatar to pick up an 8-4 triumph at No. 2 doubles. Sophomore Sergio Valinotti and freshman Serge Becerra rounded out the winners in doubles with an 8-2 victory on the No. 3 court.

The winning ways continued in singles as Berman had a 6-1, 6-1 victory on the No. 1 court, and Herrera Duran won 12 of 16 games on the No. 4 court for the team's fifth point, securing the match victory. A 6-2, 6-2 triumph by Coutinho at No. 2 singles was quickly followed by a straight-set victory by sophomore Mika Kosonen at No. 5 singles.

Valinotti registered a 6-0, 6-4 win on the No. 6 singles court while Becerra won the opening set in a tiebreaker before winning all six games in the second set to complete the shutout at No. 3 singles.

"We played a really good match in doubles, even though it was our second time playing together. We played at a very high level Saturday against Lynn and that strong play continued into today's match," said Valinotti. "The wind was coming from different directions throughout the match, making for difficult hitting conditions. I just tried to put as many balls into play as possible."
