No. 2 Womens Tennis Rolls Over No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan

The No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett women's tennis team (5-1) remains undefeated in NAIA play as it defeated No. 15 Indiana Wesleyan (21-3) on Saturday 5-0.

"Three wins in two days is huge for us after not playing matches for three weeks," stated GGC head coach Chase Hodges.  "I'm proud of the progress we continue to make and look forward to our next two matches on Sunday and Monday."

On day two of the GGC Invitational, the Grizzlies swept doubles play with the duos Valeria Podda & Sophie Feller, Alyona Vasileva & Chiara Di Salvo, and Klara Dohnalova & Helga Pinones-Haltenhoff leading the way.

Up 3-0 after doubles, the Grizzlies closed out the match with victories by Podda (6-1, 6-0) at the number one singles spot and Di Salvo (6-1, 6-0) at the number four singles slot.

GGC returns to action on Sunday when it hosts No. 15 Campbellsville (Ky.) in the final day of the GGC Invitational.  First serve is set for 10:00 a.m.
