PRIOR TO GGC: Attended Tiftarea Academy (Ga.), Florida State University, and Northwest Florida State...at Tiftarea Academy, went 6-2 with 80 strikeouts and a 1.39 ERA his senior season while being named First Team All-State...named first team all-region and was a senior all-star…helped lead Tiftarea to the Class AAA state finals…with Florida State, finished the season 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA in 15 relief appearances…struck out 11 batters in 14.0 innings…did not allow an earned run in his first six appearances…made his first appearance for the ‘Noles during the opening weekend against Oakland (Feb. 14), allowing two hits in an inning of work…pitched in all three games against Georgia (Feb. 20-21), allowing only one hit over three games while earning his first career win in FSU’s 7-5 Friday night win…tallied his second win of the year against UNC Wilmington (March 1), pitching two innings of two-hit ball…struck out two batters three times on the season, including against Wake Forest (March 13), at Virginia (March 22), and at Virginia Tech (March 27)...member of 2015 ACC Championship team...made eight appearances for Northwest Florida State in 2016, tallying 7.2 innings of work...posted one save against Daytona State (Fla.) on Jan. 30...struck out 12 batters, allowing just one hit.​
