2014:Appeared seven times in the circle, making three starts … Gave up 14 runs (nine earned) on 13 hits over 14.1 innings of work … Struck out 19 hitters and held opponents to .224 average … Went 1-for-4 as a hitter, doubling home two runs and scoring once in a win over Voorhees (April 10) … Debuted in the circle vs. Agnes Scott, tossing a perfect inning to preserve a shutout … Made first career start against NCAA Division I opponent Alcorn State, allowing four unearned runs on three hits over 1.2 innings … Struck out four in final two appearances of the season, pitching a combined 3.2 innings vs. Voorhees (April 10) and allowing a pair of hits and an unearned run.

PRIOR TO GGC: Attended Etowah High School … Earned regional player of the year award and named to an all-state team … Once helped team to the round of 16 in the state tournament.

PERSONAL:Born Chelsi Nicole Palazzo on May 31, 1995, in Marietta, Ga. … Daughter of Stephen and Stacy-Marie Palazzo … Sister, Shannyn, played softball for Georgia State and is the assistant softball coach at Middle Georgia State University.
