For the second straight week, Georgia Gwinnett College sophomore Sadie McGuinn has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after leading the Grizzlies to a historic finish.

The Missoula, Montana, native led the Grizzlies to first-place team honors at the Brewton-Parker Invitational (Georgia) last Friday – the third race during the program's inaugural season. She placed third by covering the 5-kilometer course in a time of 22:00, which was a personal-best performance by more than two minutes.

Georgia Gwinnett College is scheduled to conclude the regular season by competing in the Warhawk Invitational on Thursday, October 8, in Oakville Indian Mounds, Alabama.
