The Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team is scheduled to begin the 2026 campaign on Saturday, August 22, with a familiar setting and opponent, hosting Montreat College (North Carolina) at the Grizzly Soccer Complex, starting at 4:30 p.m.
GGC and Montreat are playing a match in August for the fourth consecutive season, and Saturday's contest marks the second straight year that the programs have squared off in their teams' season openers.

GGC is coming off a 10-6-5 campaign that featured the program's third straight Continental Athletic Conference tournament title. The team advanced to the second round of the NAIA national tournament.

Nine players have returned after scoring four or more goals last fall. Leading the charge is sophomore
Hannah Lorenz, who registered a team-high eight goals. The midfielder also led the team with 22 points.
Classmate
Alliyah Rosales chipped in five goals and senior
Gabriela Rosas also scored five times during the 2025 season.
Sophomore
Kendra Delgado provided four goals and four assists across 20 matches in her initial collegiate season. Senior
Jade Perrin and juniors
Kathrine Lindenberg and
Christy Noble each added four goals in 2025.
The Grizzlies are blessed with a duo of talented goalkeepers who helped lead the defensive unit post six shutouts last fall. Senior
Rirei Sasaki had an 8-5-5 record, with 61 saves, in protecting the team's goal. Junior
Elle Sarter was twice named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week early in the 2025 season before suffering a season-ending injury.
Sophomore
Barbora Kadlecova received the CAC Player of the Year award and was a third NAIA All-America team selection. The defender tallied four goals last season.

Junior

Rebeca Cruz Manon is the team's top returning goal scorer with seven tallies in 2025. Cruz Manon appeared in all 18 matches, with one start a year ago.
