For the sixth time this season, the Georgia Gwinnett College men's basketball team surpassed the century mark in a victory, soaring to a 113-93 triumph against Fisher College (Massachusetts) to conclude the Continental Athletic Conference Classic on Saturday evening in the Convocation Center.
The Grizzlies (18-6) scored 66 points in the second half by making 59.5 percent of their field goals to pull away from a 47-43 halftime lead.
The two teams battled back and forth throughout the first half. GGC overcame an early 15-4 deficit. A 3-pointer from senior
Anthony Bittar gave the hosts their first lead of the game, at 35-33, with just under five minutes remaining in the first half.
GGC's bench sparked the strong second-half performance, with the reserves accounting for 50 of the team's 66 points in the 20-minute period.

The team scored eight straight points to build a 70-59 advantage following a layup by Bittar at the 12:28 mark. A dunk from freshman
Patrick Johnson extended the margin to 13 points at the midway point of the period.
Shortly thereafter, senior
Manny Montgomery converted a three-point play to give GGC an 83-65 lead with 9:32 left. Montgomery scored a team-high 24 points off the bench in the final game of the CAC Classic.
The Grizzlies crossed the century mark on a 3-point field goal from senior
Drew Kramer, who tallied his 1,000th career collegiate point.
GGC's 113 points are the most scored in a single game during the program's inaugural 2025-26 season.
Six players were double-figure scorers in GGC's balanced offensive performance. Freshman
Amari Morgan tallied 16 points off the bench and classmates
Mario Hill Jr. and Johnson added 13 and 10 points, respectively. Junior
Devontre Chaney collected 15 points and senior
Deonte' Martinez had 11 points.
Junior
Brasen James scored nine points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field.
Coach's Corner
"We overcame a bad first eight minutes to get tonight's win. My favorite part of the game came in the second half when we were getting defensive stops that created offensive runouts. It was the best stretch of play that we've had in quite a while. I would like to defend home court more efficiently, but a win is a win. We don't want to lose again at home," said Head Coach
Chase Teichmann.
