Junior Maria Clara Zotti advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 2026 UTR Sports NAIA singles national championship draw to highlight the Georgia Gwinnett College women's tennis team over the three-day event at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.

Clara Zotti, the No. 7 seed in the draw, scored three straight-set triumphs to begin the tournament before eventually falling to No. 2 seed on Saturday.

Sophomore Marta Machado advanced to the Round of 16 before dropping a three-set match. Senior Mireia Simon Sanchez reached the Round of 32 in the draw.

In doubles, sophomore Minami Tan and Simon Sanchez scored a 6-4 triumph against a pairing from the University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky) on Friday.

"Amazing tournament run by UTR Sports that allowed us to get some quality matches. We leave the fall in a good place, having made progress and having a clear picture of improvements we can make heading into the spring," said Head Coach Tom Rees.
