The Georgia Gwinnett College women's tennis doubles team of juniors
MaryLove Edwards and
Suryanshi Suryanshi lost in two hard-fought sets in Sunday's NAIA championship match of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.
RESULTS
Sunday's match featured a pair of unseeded teams, but Ivet Prat and Ruslana Kovalenko of Tennessee Wesleyan University earned a 7-5, 7-6 (3) victory over the GGC tandem.

The contest was a rematch of last month's ITA South Regional semifinal that Edwards and Suryanshi won in two tightly contested sets at the GGC Tennis Facility in Lawrenceville. The Grizzly duo had a 7-1 record during the fall ITA competition schedule.
Coach's Corner
"Our women's team has come a long way since last season. I am proud of the growth we are showing, and we leave Rome and the ITA Cup with a clear picture on what we need to do to take the next step forward for the spring season," said Head Coach
