Five Georgia Gwinnett College baseball players have earned NAIA All-America honors for their strong play on the diamond that helped lead the Grizzlies to a No. 2 national ranking and a semifinal appearance in the 2025 Avista NAIA World Series.
Junior outfielder
Alex Harrell joined senior second baseman
Braxton Meguiar and senior designated hitter
Scott Seeker on the organization's first All-America team. Meanwhile, senior starting pitcher
Ben Harris and senior outfielder
Jon Ponder received third-team honors.

This marks the second straight that the Grizzlies have had five players recognized and the three first-team selections are the most for one season in program history. GGC has had 33 All-Americans since 2014, highlighted by a first-team outfielder being chosen in four of the past five seasons.
Harrell led this year's team with a .458 batting average, behind 93 hits, and scored 89 runs while starting 59 of the 60 games he played this spring. His 26 doubles matched the program's single season record. The Paragould, Arkansas, native also drove in 78 runs and connected on five home runs.
Meguiar posted a .410 batting average and started all 63 games for the Grizzlies. He scored 88 runs, drove in an additional 52 runs and successfully stole 43 bases. The Auburn, Kentucky, native established a new NAIA record with 334 career runs and concluded his four-year career with eight program records: Games played (243), games started (241), at-bats (839), hits (334), runs (334), RBI (210), doubles (68), and walks (208).

Seeker's 12 home runs and 84 RBI paced the team's balanced offensive attack that led the nation in 11 statistical categories. The Akron, Ohio, native batted .384, with 23 doubles among his 78 hits. He posted a .704 slugging percentage and started 54 games in 2025.
Harris posted a 12-1 record and 2.83 earned run average after starting 16 games this season. He struck out 103 batters across 92.1 innings. The righthander from Crystal Lake, Illinois, tossed a complete game in GGC's victory against No. 3-ranked Reinhardt University (Georgia) on April 8 and had a career-best 12 strikeouts in a 7.1-inning performance against the University of British Columbia (Canada) for the team's opening game at the Avista NAIA World Series on May 23. Harris tied the program's career record with 30 pitching victories.
Ponder collected NAIA All-America honors for the second time in his career. The Lawrenceville native set a program season record with 65 stolen bases (out of 75 attempts). He also connected on 10 home runs and added 18 doubles and eight triples in 60 games. Ponder scored 88 runs and posted a .443 on-base percentage from the leadoff spot in the team's batting order.

Georgia Gwinnett College had a 56-7 record, completed the season ranked No. 2 in the NAIA Top 25 poll, and reached the semifinal round of the Avista NAIA World Series for the second consecutive season and fourth time in program history.
