The Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team posted double-digit scores to win a pair of games on Sunday, defeating Fisher College (Massachusetts) 10-3 and West Virginia Tech 13-5 to conclude the weekend road trip in Beckley, West Virginia.
The No. 2-ranked Grizzlies (37-4) used an eight-run sixth inning to win the weekend finale against West Virginia Tech. Seniors
Kyle Norton and
Braxton Meguiar collected run-scoring singles to stretch the lead to 7-2. A few batters later, senior
Scott Seeker cleared the bases with a three-run triple. Senior
Jackson Cobb followed with an RBI single to right field that gave the visitors a 12-2 advantage.
GGC took a 4-2 lead in the fifth inning after senior
Jon Ponder scored following a passed ball. Junior
Alex Harrell hit an RBI double to right field later in the frame. Harrell would connect on a solo home run in the seventh inning.

Austin Testerman struck out six batters across four innings to improve to 4-1 for the season.

Earlier in the day, the Grizzlies put four runs on the scoreboard during the third inning to build a 6-1 lead against Fisher. Harrell drove in a pair of runs with a single to center field. He later scored following a successfully executed safety squeeze bunt by Cobb.
The lead grew to 7-1 an inning later when Meguiar lined an RBI double to left field to bring home junior

Grant Pohlman collected a run-scoring single in the fifth inning before senior
Sam Seeker hit an RBI double in the sixth inning.
Sam Seeker successfully stole home for the team's 10th run of the contest.

Cade Carlson scattered two hits and allowed one earned run across four innings to pick up his second win of the season.
Harrell paced GGC's offensive attack by driving in four runs during Sunday's games, led by bringing home three runs against West Virginia Tech. Meguiar went 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored in the finale.
