A pair of seniors from the Georgia Gwinnett College baseball and softball teams have earned the Continental Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week awards following strong performances for their nationally ranked teams.
A no-hitter by
Annalise Jarvis earned the softball honor after helping lead the Grizzlies to a 1-0 victory at Thomas University (Georgia) that completed a doubleheader sweep. She struck out 14 batters in the dominant pitching performance.

It was the sixth no-hitter of Jarvis' standout career in the pitching circle.
The Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, native had a 2-1 record, with one save, and a 0.58 earned run average across five appearances for last week. She started the week with 14 strikeouts in a complete-game pitching performance against Truett-McConnell University (Georgia) last Tuesday.
Jarvis has a 5-1 record, with two saves, and a 0.93 ERA across nine appearances this spring for the No. 9-ranked Grizzlies (9-2). She was the 2023 NAIA Pitcher of the Year and a first All-America team selection during the 2024 and 2023 seasons.
Meanwhile,
Anthony Patterson III tossed his best game of the season on the baseball mound for the No. 3-ranked team by scattering three hits across 5.1 scoreless innings against OUAZ, a team that received votes in the NAIA preseason poll. Â
The Clarksville, Tennessee, native picked up his first win of the 2025 season and his strong outing helped secure a winning weekend record (3-1) for the team.

The right hander is 1-0 with a 2.38 ERA after four appearances, including two starting assignments, this season.
GGC's softball team is scheduled to host Reinhardt University (Georgia), a team receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll, on Tuesday, February 25, at the Grizzly Softball Complex, starting at 2 p.m.
The baseball team (12-2) is scheduled to open the weekend by hosting Toccoa Falls College (Georgia) on Friday, February 28, at the Grizzly Baseball Complex, beginning at 3 p.m.
