Georgia Gwinnett College senior pitcher
Annalise Jarvis tossed her sixth career no-hitter as the Grizzlies completed a road doubleheader sweep against Thomas University (Georgia) by 4-1 and 1-0 scores on Saturday afternoon in Thomasville, Georgia.
The right hander struck out 14 batters and issued just one walk in the dominant pitching performance. Jarvis recorded three no-hitters during the 2023 season, when she was named the NAIA National Pitcher of the Year.
The Grizzlies (9-2) plated the lone run of the second contest when sophomore
Sophie Sisk drew a bases-loaded walk in the top of the fifth inning.
Earlier in the day, junior
Savannah Jenkins connected on GGC's first home run of the 2025 campaign to give the visitors a 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning. Her blast came after senior
Lindzie Owen scored the game's first run following a throwing error.
Sisk added a run-scoring single to center field in the seventh inning to extend GGC's lead to 4-1.

Freshman reliever
Isabelle Teems scattered four hits across three scoreless innings to pick up her second victory of the season. Jarvis came in to secure the opening-game triumph by striking out the side in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Owen and Jenkins each went 2-for-4 at the plate as the Grizzlies registered eight hits in the first contest. Junior
Summer Hickson collected two of the team's six hits in the nightcap.
