The Georgia Gwinnett College men's tennis team is in a familiar place atop the 2024-25 NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll, announced by the national office.
The Grizzlies garnered all 12 first-place votes to tally 372 points in a vote among a nationwide panel of coaches.
GGC is coming off an 18-0 record last spring, capped by the program's 10th consecutive national championship after a 4-0 triumph against Keiser University (Florida) in the title match.

Returning players include junior
Santiago Villarruel and sophomore
Luis Francisco Sampedro.
Villarruel won the NAIA doubles and Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Super Bowl doubles titles during the 2023 fall season. He posted a 16-2 record in doubles and played on the nation's top-ranked doubles tandem during the spring season.
Francisco Sampedro won all 16 of his singles matches during the spring, with a 15-0 record on the No. 4 court.
Georgia Gwinnett College players are scheduled to compete in four fall tournaments, beginning with the Thomasville Invitational from September 4-6 at Thomasville, Georgia.
