Men’s Soccer Hosting 10 Matches This Fall

GGC opens the home slate by hosting the Labor Day Grizzly Classic this fall
The Georgia Gwinnett College men's soccer team is scheduled to host 10 home matches, along with the Continental Athletic Conference Soccer Championship Tournament, during the upcoming fall schedule.

SCHEDULE

The Grizzlies, led by Head Coach Steve DeCou, are slated to participate in four in-season tournaments. Their home-opening Labor Day Grizzly Classic will feature games against Bryan College (Tennessee) on August 31 before hosting Rocky Mountain College (Montana) on September 2.

Lineup shakeGGC also is slated to host the CAC Classic, with matches against Wiley University (Texas) on October 3 and Talladega College (Alabama) on October 5.

Meanwhile, the team opens the season at SCAD Savannah (Georgia) on August 17 before playing two matches at Dalton State College (Georgia), facing Columbia International University (South Carolina) on August 22 and Brescia University (Kentucky) on August 24. Later, the Grizzlies will head to Lindsey Wilson College (Kentucky) for two more matches, playing the Blue Raiders on September 5 and University of Northwestern Ohio on September 7.

Three home matches are scheduled in September, beginning with the University of the Cumberlands (Kentucky) on September 14. Then home matches are planned against Governors State University (Illinois) on September 25 and Montreat College (North Carolina) on September 28.

Three consecutive home matches conclude the regular season, highlighted by a Senior Day match against Thomas University (Georgia) on October 26. Then, a contest against CAC member Florida College is set for October 29 before the regular-season finale against NCAA Division II University of North Georgia on November 2.

Georgia Gwinnett College has been selected to once again host the 2024 CAC Soccer Championship Tournament, with six teams competing for the conference title November 9-13 in Lawrenceville.
