The No. 3-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College baseball team scored a pair of 10-run victories to sweep a doubleheader at Bryan College (Tennessee) by 15-5 and 14-4 scores on Friday in Dayton, Tennessee. The two victories extended the Grizzlies' winning streak to 12 games – posting double digits in runs for six straight contests.
GGC (33-5) scored six runs in the seventh and ninth innings to rally in the opener. Junior
Caden Smith delivered a go-ahead two-run single with two outs in the top of the seventh inning. Classmate
Bryce Lesher added a double to plate three runs, giving the visitors a 9-4 lead.
Senior
Blaze O'Saben connected on a three-run home run, his ninth round tripper of the season, during the ninth inning to create separation from the Lions (20-16).
The Grizzlies collected eight two-out RBI in the victory.
Senior starting pitcher
Gage Williams improved to 7-1 on the season by having 10 strikeouts across six innings. Junior
Tyler Martin tossed two scoreless innings in relief.

In the nightcap, senior
Ajay Sczepkowski hit a three-run home run with two outs in the top of the third inning to give GGC the lead for good at 4-1. He leads the team with 11 homers this spring.
The team scored five runs in the fifth inning with juniors
Braxton Meguiar and
Paul Winland Jr. each tallying run-scoring singles in the frame.
Junior starting pitcher
Ben Harris recorded nine strikeouts in the complete-game victory. He improved to 7-0 on the season.
Offensively, Smith went 5-for-8, with four runs scored, during the two games. Lesher drove in five runs as part of a 3-for-4 performance in the opener. Meguiar recorded two hits in both contests for the Grizzlies.
"I was very impressed with how we found ways to separate on the scoreboard and win two games. We pitched really well in both games. I'm happy with how the guys went about our business. We put ourselves in position to execute with two outs," said Head Coach
