Georgia Gwinnett College seniors Ajay Sczepkowski and Kaleb Hill have been named the final Continental Athletic Conference Baseball Players of the Week award winners for the 2024 season.

Sczepkowski, the Hitter of the Week, provided the power in the Grizzlies' three-game series sweep against Fisher College (Massachusetts) last weekend, with two home runs and two doubles. He had a .455 batting average, brought in nine runs and scored five runs.

The 2023 NAIA Player of the Year connected on a pair of home runs in last Saturday's first game victory. The round trippers brought his career total to 46 homers.

The Reading, Pennsylvania, native legged out a pair of doubles and scored twice in the series finale last Saturday.

For the season, Sczepkowski has a .391 batting average. The outfielder is tied for team-high honors with 13 home runs while leading the Grizzlies with 17 doubles. He stands second with 68 RBI. He also has scored 61 runs and stole 37 bases in 45 games this spring.

Hill, the Pitcher of the Week, took a no-hitter into the sixth inning of the opening game of last Saturday's doubleheader victory against the Falcons. The left hander finished the dominant performance by allowing only two hits and no runs in the six-inning effort on the mound.

The Pine Bluff, Arkansas, native struck out four batters and got nine ground ball outs in the game.

Hill stands 8-1 this season with a rotation-best 2.06 earned run average in 12 appearances. He has tossed three complete games and recorded 78 strikeouts across 65.2 innings.

Georgia Gwinnett College (42-6), ranked No. 2 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll, is scheduled to close out the regular season with a doubleheader against Carolina University (North Carolina) on Wednesday, May 1, at the Grizzly Baseball Complex, starting at 3 p.m.

The Grizzlies are the top seed for the 2024 CAC Baseball Championship that is scheduled to start Saturday, May 4, and continue through next Tuesday, May 7.
