After a strong Senior Day mound performance, Georgia Gwinnett College senior
Shane Anderson has been named the Continental Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week. This is the second time that he has received the league honor this season.
Anderson struck out seven batters and scattered three hits while allowing only one earned run across seven innings in a series-opening victory against Lindsey Wilson University (Kentucky) last Friday.

The right-hander from Chandler, Arizona, has a 5-0 record, three saves and 3.37 earned run average across 14 appearances this spring. He has had 58 strikeouts in 42.2 innings.
Georgia Gwinnett College (40-5) is scheduled to conclude the regular season against Spartanburg Methodist College (South Carolina) on Tuesday, April 21, at the Grizzly Baseball Complex, starting at 5 p.m. Then, the team will travel to Lexington, Kentucky, for a three-game series against fellow CAC opponent Fisher College (Massachusetts) on Friday, April 24, and Saturday, April 25.
