The No. 19-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team had its second straight 1-1 draw, this time coming against the University of Mobile (Alabama) on Saturday afternoon at the Grizzly Soccer Complex.
The Grizzlies (2-0-5) had a 1-1 draw at Life University (Georgia) on Thursday. The team registered three draws during this week's action and its five draws for the season are a school record.
Junior
Kyara Armenta gave the hosts an early 1-0 lead in the sixth minute with her second goal of the season. Senior
Addie Adame delivered a ball up the middle of the pitch for Armenta, whose one-timer drifted into the left side netting.
However, the Grizzlies couldn't manage to add any more goals despite outshooting the Rams (2-2-2) by a 15-6 margin in the match and registering 11 corner kicks.
Mobile got the equalizer in the 56th minute on an unassisted goal from Sophie Roberts.

Armenta led the Grizzlies with five shot attempts while Adame added three shots across the 90 minutes of competitive action. Junior
Pernilla Westergren also had three shots in the contest.
For the second consecutive match GGC was unable to find a second goal and it resulted in a 1-1 draw. Junior
Kyara Armenta found the back of the net in the sixth minute for a quick 1-0 advantage. Mobile was able to capitalize following a long goal kick to square the match in the 56th minute on a goal from Sophie Roberts.
