Four straight Avista NAIA World Series appearances have the Georgia Gwinnett College baseball program with high expectations after being ranked No. 7 in the 2023 NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll. The selection came by a nationwide panel of coaches.

The Grizzlies (46-16 last season) placed eighth in the 2022 NAIA World Series after winning the national championship in 2021, both coming in Lewiston, Idaho.

GGC, led by Head Coach Jeremy Sheetinger, will have several key returning players and talented newcomers for a 2023 team that's preparing to defend NAIA Opening Round and Continental Athletic Conference tournament titles.

The team's 2023 schedule will be announced later this year.
