Chase Hodges has been named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's NAIA Men's Tennis National Coach of the Year for a 2017-18 season in which the Grizzlies won team and individual NAIA national championships.
This is the fifth time that Hodges has been recognized as a National Coach of the Year at the ITA's annual coaches convention.

Hodges has guided Georgia Gwinnett College's men's teams to 82 consecutive match victories, marking the longest active winning streak in all of collegiate sports.
He also serves as head coach of the women's program, which also won a NAIA championship in 2018. The GGC program has captured nine NAIA national championships since 2014.
The Grizzlies' men's tennis team opens the 2019 season with a home match against NCAA Division II Lander University (S.C.) on Jan. 31 at the GGC Tennis Facility.
