Stina Andersson had her head in the game, literally, as the No. 16-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer team scored a 2-0 victory at Life University on Wednesday evening in Marietta, Ga.
Andersson broke the scoreless tie by using the top of her head to deflect a crossing pass from classmate
Maddy Keenan into the back of the net in the 48th minute.
Then senior
Melissa Hanken made a dazzling play to beat a Life defender to score an insurance goal in the 83rd minute.
GGC (8-2) recorded its seventh shutout of the season, with junior goalkeeper
Elisa Randel making one save in the 90-minute match. The team held a commanding 14-to-3 shot advantage in the match.
