The No. 16-ranked Georgia Gwinnett College women soccer team needed just one of its 20 shots to find the back of the net in scoring a 1-0 road victory against Reinhardt University on Saturday afternoon in Waleska, Ga.
It was the Grizzlies' eighth shutout in nine victories this season, improving to 9-2.
For the second-straight match, GGC scored the match-winning goal in the second half to pick up a victory. This time senior
Stina Andersson found the back of the net off a free kick in the 58th minute.
The team scored two second-half goals in a shutout win at Life University (Ga.) on Wednesday night.
Andersson, a defender, netted the game-winning goal in both matches. In the 58th minute of Saturday's match, senior
Lauren Moss sent a free kick in front of the goal from 25 yards away. After receiving the pass, Andersson managed to get behind the Reinhardt defense and beat the goalkeeper. The goal was her fourth of the season. That ties for team-high honors.
The Grizzlies have won all five of its matches against in-state opponents this season.

GGC outshot the Eagles (8-4) 20-to-4 with eight of those shots being on goal.
Junior goalkeeper
Elisa Randel stopped Reinhardt's only shot to record the shutout.
Coach's Corner
"We need to go back to the drawing board and figure out why Reinhardt was able to possess the ball like they did against us today. Our program has come to a point where we're discouraged even though we outshot the opposition by 20-to-4 margin. We'll think about that until the next game," said
Dr. Mike Giuliano.
Turning Point
The Grizzlies pounced for their only goal following a second-half foul in the attacking half of the field. Senior
Lauren Moss delivered a free kick 25 yards away from the goal to senior
Stina Andersson, who was at the edge of the six-yard box. Andersson was able to get a touch as the Reinhardt goalkeeper came off the goal line.
