GGC exploded for nine goals and 33 shot attempts in the second half, after leading 2-0 at halftime. The team also had 15 of its 18 corner kicks in the second 45-minute period.

Freshman Gianmaria Fiore scored a hat trick in the strong second half and sophomore Toni Tiente accounted for two goals. Six other players found the back of the net in the victory.

Junior Sagi Hirsch had three assists, while sophomores Krishna Clarke and Alfredo Rivera each added two assists.

18 MSOC Senior NightPrior to the match, the men's soccer program honored seniors Junior Ametepe, Christoffer Andersson, Herb Sevilla, Andrew White and Riley Wildeman. Ametepe scored his first collegiate goal on a penalty kick in the 75th minute. Wildeman made one save in picking up the victory in goal.

Coach's Corner
"We haven't had an offensive performance like this since our first year. We needed this and we obviously wore our shooting boots today. We were fortunate to be able to play a lot of people. Our senior class is another group that has helped establish the greatness of this program. It is filled with very good players, great people and great students. They're great representatives of what it means to be a Grizzly," said Head Coach Steve DeCou.

Turning Point
The Grizzlies exploded for nine second-half goals. The first goal of the period came from freshman Gianmaria Fiore in the 52nd minute. It was the first of his three tallies during the period. Fiore later added goals in the 65th and 80th minutes. In total, the Grizzlies attempted 33 shots in the second half.
