Men's Soccer Collects 10th Win of Season, Defeats Bob Jones 3-0

The No. 9 Georgia Gwinnett College men's soccer team picked up its 10th win of the season, defeating Bob Jones University 3-0 Tuesday evening. This is the sixth straight season that GGC has recorded 10 or more victories.

The Grizzlies (10-2-1) scored three goals in the first 13 minutes of the match to secure the road victory.

Freshman Krishna Clarke got the scoring started in the third minute. Then, the Grizzlies struck twice in less than two minutes to stretch the margin to 3-0. Junior Andrew White scored in the 11th minute for his first goal of the season to capitalize upon a corner kick. Senior Jack Gurr added a tally in the 13th minute to cap the team's scoring.

Freshman Matija Gligorovic and sophomore Riley Wildeman combined for the shutout in goal.

Turning Point

The visitors struck for three goals in the first 13 minutes of the match. In the third minute, the Grizzlies got on the scoreboard by connecting from the defense to the forwards. A cross from sophomore Sagi Hirsch toward the six-yard box was finished by freshman Krishna Clarke for the first goal of the match.
