Laurie Shepard serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative at Georgia Gwinnett College. She is an Instructor of Physical Education.
Shepard comes to GGC after spending the past 16 years teaching, training and evaluating athletes throughout the country. Her primary focus has been to teach and prepare athletes for the college level. Using her experiences as a college athlete at Florida State University and as a professional with the Colorado Silver Bullets, Shepard has mentored approximately 500 athletes in all aspects of sports and fitness.
She earned her master's in sports management from Georgia Southern University after receiving a bachelor's degree in nutrition and fitness from Florida State.
