John Topoleski was promoted to Georgia Gwinnett College Athletics Operations Manager in March 2024 after four seasons on the baseball coaching staff.
Topoleski previously had managed the Grizzly Baseball Complex for Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities Kyle Norton, assisted Doug Court in hosting postseason events at GGC facilities, and served on the baseball coaching staff since 2021.
He worked with the infielders, hitters, base running, catchers and being the team's first and third base coaches.
Topoleski will manage day-to-day operations of practice, regular season, and postseason home events. Those responsibilities also will include being the host site supervisor for Continental Athletic Conference and NAIA Opening Round events in Lawrenceville this spring.
Before joining the GGC Athletics administration, Topoleski was the first base coach on the 2021 GGC baseball coaching staff that captured the program’s first NAIA national championship. The 2024 season marked his second as the third base coach while also mentoring returning all-conference catcher.
Topoleski is a graduate of Gwinnett County’s Collins Hill High School and played baseball collegiately at Tusculum University (Tennessee), earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2017. He was a member of the school’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll. Topoleski added his master’s degree in human resources and talent development from Tusculum in 2018.
He married Cortney in 2023 and the couple reside in Flowery Branch.
