Nicole Mares Rivera joined the Georgia Gwinnett College women's soccer coaching staff for the 2026 season after playing two seasons for the Green and Gray in 2024 and 2025.
Mares Rivera graduated from GGC in May 2026.
She appeared in 32 matches and attempted 10 shots during her two-year playing career. The midfielder found the back of the net twice, tallying a goal against Florida College during the 2024 season and against Florida National in 2025. Mares Rivera provided three assists as a senior.
Mares Rivera was a four-time AD honor roll recipient and was named a 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete.
She arrived to Lawrenceville from Iowa Central Community College where she received ICCAC all-tournament accolades.
