Isid Hernandez joined the Georgia Gwinnett College tennis coaching staff as an assistant coach after playing for the Grizzlies during the 2025 season.
Hernandez is moving to coaching for the Grizzlies after helping the program win a NAIA national team championship as a player last spring. She posted a 13-1 singles record, including an 8-0 mark on the No. 5 court, during the 2025 season. Hernandez then went 12-2 in doubles action last season, highlighted by nine triumphs on the No. 1 court.
Hernandez previously played at Division I University of the Incarnate Word University (Texas) and Cowley College (Kansas), a junior college. Hernandez completed her undergraduate degree from GGC in December 2025.
