NAIA national championship assistant coach Tom Bentham has joined the Georgia Gwinnett College men’s soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2025 season..
Bentham comes to GGC after a five-year stint at Dalton State College (Georgia) which culminated in the Roadrunners winning the 2024 NAIA national championship. He served as the program’s assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer programs. Bentham played collegiately at Dalton State as well as Feather River College (California) and NCAA Division II University of West Alabama.
This past season Bentham helped guide Dalton State to a 20-0-2 record that featured not conceding a goal across four matches at the NAIA National Championship final site. Overall, the men’s soccer program went 75-11-11 during his five seasons on the sidelines, while the women’s team posted consecutive winning seasons in 2023 and 2024.
