Jeff Moyer enters his fourth season as a member of the Grizzly baseball staff.  Moyer currently serves as an assistant coach with the Grizzlies and is also tasked with scouting and evaluating future Grizzlies as he serves as GGC baseball’s Recruiting Coordinator.

Prior to his time with the Grizzlies, Moyer served as the graduate assistant coach for Southeastern University (Fla.) where he earned a Master’s of Business Administration with a Concentration in Sports Management. On the field, Moyer worked with infielders and provided hitting instruction. While at Southeastern University, he served as an assistant coach for the Columbia Blowfish in the Coastal Plains League

Since his arrival to GGC, Moyer served two seasons as head coach of Gwinnett Tides in the Sunbelt League (2016 & 2017), and was also the Director of Operations in the Sunbelt League in 2017 and 2018. While working with the Sunbelt League, he was tasked with recruiting players for the league as well as handling the day-to-day operations within the league.
 
Outside of his baseball responsibilities, Moyer is currently the Vice President of Operations with Game Time Leagues. The organization’s mission is to promote the development of 7th through 12th grade baseball players by offering competitive, local developmental baseball leagues, innovative training opportunities and fundraising for local baseball programs in the state of Georgia.  Game Time Leagues has played a major role in the success and recruiting process for the Grizzlies.
 
Moyer has a unique playing and coaching background, having played or coached at every level of baseball except for Division 3. Moyer played collegiately with three different programs.  He began his collegiate career with Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.) where he was the 2009 NCCAA Freshman of the Year. After his freshman year, he transferred to Santa Fe College (Fla.) for his sophomore season.  Moyer led the saints in batting average (.404 ) Home Runs (12). In the fall of 2010, Moyer transferred to the University of Florida where he completed his final two years of collegiate baseball.  Moyer was a member of Florida’s back-to-back NCAA Division I College World Series teams (2011, 2012) that finished as the National Runner-up in 2011.

Moyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration with a Concentration in Sports Management from Southeastern University.
